FAQ
What's the difference between roll call and lucky draw modes?
Roll call mode uses 'no repeat' — drawn names appear greyed out, ensuring each person is only called once. Lucky draw mode uses 'allow repeat' — each draw picks from the full list.
How do I import names?
Three ways: 1) Add names one by one; 2) Paste a batch (one per line, or comma/space separated); 3) Click 'Import File' to select a TXT or CSV file.
How do I switch animation styles?
Select from the 'Animation' dropdown in the draw settings area. Choose between slot machine, spinning wheel, card flip, or bouncy. Each draw uses the currently selected style.
Is my data sent to any server?
No. All names and draw records are processed locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Your data is automatically saved in local storage, so it persists even after closing or refreshing the page.
How many people can I add?
No hard limit, but for performance we recommend keeping lists under 10,000 names. For large lists, use the file import option.
Can I draw multiple people at once?
Yes. Adjust the 'Draw Count' setting to your desired number, up to 50. In no-repeat mode, the actual draw count is limited by remaining participants.
