How precise is the stopwatch?
The stopwatch is precise to one hundredth of a second (0.01s). It uses a Web Worker to run timing in an independent background thread, unaffected by UI refresh rates, ensuring accurate and reliable timing.
Does timing stop when I switch to another tab?
No. The stopwatch uses a Web Worker that runs in the background. Timing remains accurate even when you switch tabs or minimize the browser window.
Will my timing be lost if I refresh the page?
No. The stopwatch automatically saves timing state to your browser's local storage. After a page refresh, timing automatically restores to its previous state and continues running.
How many laps can I record?
There is theoretically no upper limit; you can record any number of laps. Lap records are saved in your browser's local storage and are only cleared when you manually reset.
What keyboard shortcuts are supported?
Press Enter to start or pause timing, press Space to record a lap (works only while running), and press R to reset the timer.
Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. All stopwatch data is processed locally in your browser, including timing state and lap records. Nothing is uploaded to any server, ensuring your privacy.
